Relief Description
On the ground in North Carolina, MDS is working with clean-up operations from Helene. As of today, 34 volunteers are working while search and rescue operations are underway.
If anyone is interested in going to NC to help, please contact me first. They are currently overwhelmed with volunteers but may need help in several weeks. This needs to be a coordinated effort.Contact Name

During this initial phase we are collecting items that will hopefully meet the immediate needs of those affected by Hurricane Helene in GA, SC, and NC. We have drop off locations all throughout Kent and Sussex County (see below). Items being collected are:

Cleaning Supplies
Plastic Sheeting/ Tarps
Heavy Duty Work Gloves
Baby Wipes
Diapers (children & adults)
Baby Formula
