Compassion Street is a 2-hour and 15-minute musical that focuses on two types of "homelessness." Those who are physically homeless living on streets and in shelters and people who are emotionally and spiritually homeless living in houses. It invites audiences to experience a change of "inner view" toward labeling people homeless. It encourages engagement with them by "noticing" them, treating them to a cup of coffee, listening to their stories, all for the sake of honoring their dignity as human beings.
