Do you love animals? We are looking for volunteers for our MEGA ADOPTION EVENT in Harrington, DE from December 8-11!
MEGA is the LARGEST dog and cat adoption event in the US. It's also the thing that BVSPCA is best known for! We have around 1,600 companion animals lined up so far who will be looking for their forever families. The event takes place Saturday, December 10th, and Sunday, December 11th at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington, DE.
We are looking for volunteer help on: Thursday, 12/8 - PRIORITY*** - This is the main set up day and we need as many helpers as possible to get it done in an easy and timely manner! This will help make the transfer of the animals as stress-free as possible as their temporary homes will already be set up.
Friday, 12/9 – Dogs and cats arrive and we get them settled in for the weekend
Saturday, 12/10 - Event Day
Sunday, 12/11 - Event Day
We also allow community volunteers (ages 13+) for this event - so bring your friends, family, and coworkers along for the party!
ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME as there will be training onsite.
