Emerging Leader Ben Sorrells on Good Morning Delmarva

It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to a new emerging leader in the Delmarva Community.
Ben Sorrells is the Director of Community Engagement at The Bridge, a nonprofit ministry.
Over the year, he has participated in a series of mission trips to a village The Bridge listeners across Delmarva and South Jersey have adopted in the Dominican Republic. While there – they’ve helped build up the village and aided in the children’s education.
So far, all school-age kids in the village attend school and they have built a community center, water tanks, a bakery, sewing center, and purchased property for a missionary who lives and works with the village.
And if you’re a Delmarva or South Jersey resident interested in joining the next mission trip, it will be from January 15th through the 20th of 2024. You find more information at wearethebridge.org
